Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS)

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Then He took a little child and putting His arm around him said,
“Whoever welcomes a child such as this for My sake welcomes Me!” Mark 9:36-37

About CGS
In Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, children aged 3-12, together with catechists, explore Sacred Scripture and Liturgy in an approach which takes guidance from Montessori principles. Together as a community, they draw ever closer to Jesus, the Good Shepherd.

The Atrium
The children attend weekly sessions in a prepared environment, called The Atrium. It is a sacred place where the child is free to work with materials, lovingly made by catechists, to enjoy God, listen to the Word and to respond to God's abundant love and to pray.

Please note that all sessions across all levels are FULL for 2021.
In our Atrium, we take in children new to CGS only in the year they turn 4. We are otherwise full across all age groups. You may write in to request to be put on the waiting list for children born in 2018 (to enter the atrium in 2022). We will only contact you some time towards the end of 2021 when the registration process begins.
